2018: eighteensixtytwo nineteeneighteen
Marking the 100th anniversary of Gustav Klimt’s death, the artist
created a permanent light installation for the foundation’s Vienna
headquarters. Signs in white neon made up of writing, numbers and lines
center on the years of Klimt’s birth and death, re-contextualizing an
individual, two-dimensional line from a Klimt painting within a three-dimensional space.
