The Klimt Foundation operates as an independent and interdisciplinary platform dedicated to the documentation of the era “Vienna 1900” and also acts as lender and cooperation partner for research and exhibition projects. In accordance with its charter, the foundation has continuously provided loans to exhibitions in Austria and abroad since its inception and is active as a curator to exhibitions in public museums.
